Crystal of the Month – October 2011 – Citrine

Citrine is one of the only stones that never needs charging or clearing. It is known to promote success, prosperity, and abundance. It is used in businesses to increase cash flow and bring steady customers and is often placed in cash registers with this intent. Citrine is an all-around stone of good fortune. It helps to manifest abundance but also encourages spreading the wealth, paying it forward, which in turns, brings about a continued flow of prosperity.

Citrine carries the power of the sun. It dispels negative energy, assists in releasing past trauma and can clear negative energy from your environment. It is good for general protection and settling disputes. It is said to stabilize and uplift moods, relieve depression, strengthen will power and bring general happiness to those who carry or wear it.

Citrine is associated with the solar plexus and can enhance sensuality and sexuality.

It is a good meditation stone, clears the aura of negative energy and assists in recalling dreams, eliminating nightmares , removing toxins and overcoming addictions.
