Crystal of the Month – September 2011 – Carnelian

Carnelian has a rich, deep orange-red color.  It is powerful in energy and can help boost your energy.  It is also a good stone for protection from negativity and poverty.  It was long known to be used by the noble class and said that socialites were often buried with Carnelian.

Carnelian can bring humor to a situation and help calm tempers.  It increases inner strength and personal power.  It has a wide range of uses which also include aiding memory, finding your soulmate, manifesting your heart’s desires, easing pain and delivering good luck.

Physically, Carnelian can be used for rejuvenating tissues and cells.  I have also recently learned that it can also be used in healing neuralgia and relieving allergy symptoms.
